Conference Committee on Mission Service sends a VIM Team to the Philippines
Doing VIM trips becomes investments in mission especially in its task of decolonizing mission. John Wesley once said, “The world is my parish.” All VIM trips that our California Nevada Conference is sending are witness to the call of our common mission that is, “Make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.” Please pray for empowerment to all our missionaries.

The mission, deeply rooted in a decade-long tradition, continued to fortify the ties between various communities under the United Methodist banner and foster a unique blend of cultural and religious unity.
Getting Back to a “New Normal”
Churches found that you can still be in mission while providing food to those in need, helping shut ins get the care they needed and providing emotional support in so many creative ways in their community! Now in 2024, we are seeing more teams going out nationally and globally much like we did in early 2020.
